The Peruvian Death in Berlin (Hedwig’s Intervention)

Henning Dierolf Season 1 Episode 60

In this podcast, I show how even a grandmother who had already two strokes and severe dementia was still capable of great love and could move mountains even though she was very limited in an environment that allowed hardly any opportunities to make direct contact with her grandson Henning. She was very isolated, guarded, and restricted, and the clergy were sure that nothing more could come from her. This was supposed to ensure that her only grandson, who, like Hedwig, was also Franconian at heart, would be completely cut off from her. The Swabian and the Freiburg clergy assumed Henning would now be easy prey.
