The Tax Pope (The Struggle of Peoples for Wealth)
Today, I discuss how different peoples seek to secure their prosperity and expand their power and financial leeway. In this context, the question arises as to whether the Bavarian Pope Benedict XVI was a great supporter of church tax and many other taxes. Is it in the church's interest that a state has high tax rates? Does the church benefit more if the government has full coffers and a large annual budget? Is the power of the Bavarians secured by high tax revenues (also gained from the Franconian people)? Do church organizations and state organizations in Bavaria work hand in hand to assert themselves (and their nobility) in the global struggles for confessional predominance? Should everyone work and pay for the realization of the Kingdom of Jesus, for a step closer to paradise, for all to carry only the truths of the Bavarians in their hearts? Not least, it is a matter of world peace! Would high tax payments to the Bavarians make world peace possible?
